Palace Turned Museum
No trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to the famous
Louvre Museum - and we decided to start our trip there. After
grabbing a bite to eat in one of the cafeterias inside the museum
we walked the halls admiring only a small fraction of what is
owned by this museum (over 300,000 pieces in all.)
The Pyramid
Like all new designs in Paris (The Eiffel Tower and the
Pompidou Center) the Parisian's have a love/hate
relationship with this entrance to their historic
palace-turned-museaum. Our friend Ilana still doesn't
understand what the problem is - this are used to be a
parking lot!
Grabbing The Spaniards
Brent took a young couple's photograph and
we were able to con them into doing the
same for us.
Very Cool Elevator
The column in the center of the staircase is an elevator
which disappears into the floor as it carries passengers to
the floor below.
