That Enigmatic Smile

Admittedly, we didn't spend hours in the Louvre - we only had
three days in the whole city and you could spend a week in this
museum alone! However, we did manage to hit "the highlights"
as blasphemous as that may sound to any art-buff.
The Mona Lisa
Crowds push and shove to get a chance to view Leonardo
De Vinci's masterpiece which could be a self portrait or
perhaps an important clue in the Da Vinci Code.
Venis De Milo
The room where they have her is spectacular
as well.

The Now-Famous Inverted Pyramid
Is this the symbol of the "Sacred Feminine?"
You decide.
The Back Stairways
We love to get off the beaten path.
Under the museum is the remains of a medieval fortress.
