The Historic Inner Harbor

Baltimore's Inner Harbor is known for a variety of things, not the
least of which is the oldest existing military ship that actually saw
battle remaining in the United States.

It also has a very renowned Aquarium in front of which floats the
Chesapeake Submarine.

The harbor is also surrounded by old brick buildings that once
held factories of all kinds, but have now been refurbished with
restaurants and stores. The effort has restored the area and
brought in both tax dollars and tourists from all over.

Just across the way is Ft. McHenry which inspired our national
anthem.

Trying To Warm Up
Kate bought this funny hat our first morning there and got
great use out of it, as the weather was pretty chilly.
