There's So Much To See Our Feet Are Still Sore

Okay, so by now they may have recovered a bit, but we did
manage to put several miles on our feet while we were there. The
problem is there really is so much to see that it's difficult to stop
when one knows what's in store.  Here are a few of the highlights.
The Old Post Office and Union Station
The Metro
Ready For An Easter Egg Hunt
Good Old 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was all dressed up
for Easter and the traditional Easter Egg Hunt.
We Have No Idea
Both of us just really liked this statue outside
the National Treasury.
National Cherry Blossom Festival Photo
One can't go to D.C. in the Spring and not get a Cherry
Blossom photo. Though the flowers were a bit hampered
by a temperature drop (it was in the 80's earlier in the week
and in the low 40's when this shot was taken) they
remained very beautiful.
Ford's Theatre
Yet another attraction that doesn't cost any
money but does require tickets. This time
through we only saw the outside, but it was
really neat to see that the theatre still stands.
It's very close to the White House
The FBI Building
Right around the corner to the International Spy Museum is
the real thing - the FBI.
