In The Land Of The Midnight Sun For July 4th
Since it never really gets dark, it's a bit hard to really get the full
impact of fireworks. Anchorage tried and had a firework display
which it started at 12:45 AM since that time is the least sunny
part of the day. Sawyer had difficulty with the 3-hour time
difference and the constant sunlight, so that complicated our
visit. He wanted to go to bed at 5:00, which was fine, but when
he wanted to get up at 4:15...well...that was a bit rough on Mom
and Dad!
