Beechwood Aged...
First thing we did when we got there was head straight to the
brewery! That turned out to be a great idea because after a
wonderful (free) tour, it ended in the "hospitality" room where
we were able to munch on pretzels and taste Budweiser's
latest concoction - Spikes - a liquid you add to beer to make it
sweeter and taste more fruity - yowza we would have bought
some had it already been on sale.
Keep an eye out for us, will ya?

An Amazing Chandelier In The Brewery
This unique three story chandelier came from
the World's Fair and was transported to St.
Louis where it has hung ever since.
We Meet One Of The Clydesdale's
Though there were all sorts of instructions before the
voyage, we managed to miss it and still survived...go
figure.
Budweiser's Marketing Building Is A Blast Fro The Past
Even with a megaphone, we couldn't understand a word.
One Of Four Historical Buildings On The
Campus
This is now the brew house but was once a
train station that brought in supplies and
shipped out brew.
That Famous Coach
After all those Christmas commercials with
the Clydesdales in the snow, it was a hoot to
see it in person.
Even The Gates Are Beautiful
The whole place has incredible pride - it reminded us of
Disneyland.
What's In A Name
Budweiser is a totally made-up name that the original
Busch felt sounded German but was easy to say for
Americans.
It's A Veritable Compound
Here is the road that takes you down to the
old school house as well as the brewing
facilities - to the right are the stables for those
famous horse.
