Tom Sawyer Took Us For A Ride

Brent organized for us to take a boat ride up the Mississippi on
an old steam boat which turned out to be a great idea because
not only did it give us a different view of the city and the arch, but
the captain and one of the gentleman from the city's parks and
services departments were both very knowledgeable and gave
a great history of the area.

We did not know, for instance, that it was politics that made
Chicago, and not St. Louis, the major mid-West city...
I Think We Are Going To Get Wet
Naah!
The Tom Sawyer
This charming little steam ship chugged us
up and down the river for a neat hour tour of
the area.
From Above
After we took the boat ride, we got to go up in the arch and
saw our launch from above - that was certainly a neat
thing.
The Obligatory Sheffield Pose
Gotta have those "chronicle shots."
