Mork Calling Orson...
We took a very interesting ride in a craft that more than mildly
resembled Mork's famous egg. A train of eight "eggs," with five
very small seats in each, (that were arranged in an even
smaller circle) took five people slowly up to the top of the arch.
As described by the narrator in the egg, the system was made
with the very latest technology...of the 1960's...
Look Mom , We Are AT 630 Feet
Wow, did that turn out to be true!
Entering the Arch
Much like the Louvre, the entrance to the arch
is underneath it where there is also a neat
museum as well.
Kate Boards For The Launch
Orson, this is Mork, I'm coming home...and
I'm bringing friends!
Traveling 630 Feet In The Egg
Good thing we weren't claustrophobic...
The Best Student
We were lucky that we had kids in our "cart"
on both the up and the down - don't know how
you could fit five large people in that!
"I'm On The Top Of The World"
Brent is at the pinnacle of the Arch.
We Survived!
We go down the stairs to board our eggs so that we can
go back to earth - it was a great trip!
Gotta Love The Toys!
Brent has a ball playing with the mock up of
the crane that fit the last piece of the arch in
place.
