The Official Luncheon
In honor of his 90th, Popop had 2 events - first a luncheon and
then a cocktail party the following evening. The luncheon was a
particular treat for Kate because it included all of her mom's
cousins (and some of their children) who came from all over the
country to celebrate their uncle's 90th.
Justin was the youngest of 4 children, so he is the last of his
generation in a large and very tight family and it was tremendous
how his nieces and nephews came to honor him. Kate's brother
Russ and his wife Grace also came and of course Justin's other
two children (besides Kate's mom) were there. It was a four and
a half hour affair, but it seemed to pass so quickly.
