Sawyer's First Visit To The Beach
Though both of Sawyer's parents grew up very close to the
Pacific Ocean, it turned out that his first "taste" of the beach was
in fact on Robberg Beach on the Indian Ocean.
This gorgeous beach is long and flat - perfect for long walks and
great chats. Sawyer was pretty intrigued by the water - which
was cool and was okay - as long as it didn't go too far above his
ankles, but unfortunately he was pretty hungry and the bottle we
had with us wasn't warm enough for him, so the morning was
cut a bit short - all for the best we figured because we avoided
any sunburn that way!
We look forward to taking him back to the beach this summer so
we can make sand castles and do it all right!
