Football Players From Red Robin, Friends At School,
Superhero Encyclopedias, Mini Mites, Mommy Gets A
Hockey Jersey And A Visit To Daddy At Work
In order to help him understand the value of money and to
motivate him to pay a bit better attention at school, Sawyer
has been using the money in his piggy bank to buy little
football players that one can only find in a specific vending
machine at Red Robin. Over the course of the last two
weeks he has managed to collect most of the teams in the
NFL - we are impressed by how few repeats he has. We are
having great pre-season games everywhere we go -
especially at meal time when there is a flat surface on which
to set up a field.
Mommy is still able to pick Sawyer up at school early so she
does so as often as possible - grabbing snap shots of the
group just on "a normal day." This week one of his little
friends, Whitney, with whom he's been in class since he got
to Creme about a year and a half ago, is leaving for another
school. Luckily at this age they don't seem to know what that
means and it's all just fun and excitement.
We are currently addicted to the Superhero encyclopedias
that Grandma and Granddad got for Sawyer. Who knew
there were so many superheros and corresponding villains
in the world? It's quite an education.
Hockey continues to go pretty well but the biggest excitement
this week was Mommy finally got a hockey jersey - now of
course Sawyer wants it.
Daddy is back at work and Sawyer and Mom are having to
drive him to and from - it makes for a fun visit to the office
however. Daddy's got some great toys at work.
