The Dentist, Daddy Has Eye Surgery Again, Costumes,
Hockey, Hockey, Hockey And Legos, Legos, Legos
We had our semi-annual trip to the dentist this week and
Sawyer passed his exam with flying colors. Now that we are
flossing every night the dentist is saying we are among his
best patients. Sawyer was awarded with a pair for scary blue
teeth for the effort.
Daddy had eye surgery again on Monday but at least this
time he doesn't have to lie in bed for seven days straight - he
just needs to be sure to keep his head upright - so that
means he can hang out and be with his little buddy more.
Hockey continues to go well, though we are struggling with
our "listening ears" a bit and we've had to sit in the penalty
box here and there. He doesn't like that!
Costumes have now made their way into Costco and for a
little boy who loves to dress up as much as his Daddy, this is
veritably torturous. We had to get pictures of what was there
so that we could send them to Santa Claus - and of course
there were a few other things that the-man-in-red needed to
see, but costumes have received the most air time this week.
Legos never cease to excite and this week, on our
Mommy-and-Me day, we went to the Lego gym - however, the
added treat was being allowed to wear our Superman
pajamas all day as well.
That said, we don't let him get away with that for school, but
no matter, he loves his Lego creations at Creme just as
much. It's now an official ritual to take a picture of what he's
working on at the end of every day.
