4th Of July And Ranger's Game, "Dark Skate" At Grapevine
Mills Mall, Farmer Day At School And Helping Daddy Around
The House
For the 4th of July Brent got us tickets to see the Rangers
play. Not only were there fireworks following the game,
before the game there was a military fly-by (we have a photo
below.)
The seats we had could not have been more perfect - in the
outfield along the third base line and right at the bottom of the
field. Not only did we not have anyone in front of us, so we
didn't have to worry about kicking chairs, but we had some
space for Sawyer to roam around and there were only three
people in our row - us.
The ball park has a play area for kids just like our little man
and Brent took him for several innings where Sawyer also
got a baseball Lego.
We had farmer day at school and were astounded when
Sawyer insisted on wearing jeans to school - not just
because it's hot as blazes in Texas in July, but because he
utterly loathes wearing jean. He was very proud of himself
and his outfit, however - insisting on the bandanna and hat.
As always, Sawyer wants to be like Daddy so the chore list
this week took a bit longer because of the help that enlisted
itself for the job. One certainly can't complain - this is what
we signed on for.
Another great treat was Daddy was up to going skating on
Saturday night during "dark skate" at Grapevine Mills Mall and
you will see below that Sawyer could not have been happier -
he loves to skate holding hands with Mommy or Daddy.
