Not Exactly Modest, Hockey Class, Boat Safety Day At
Swimming, Back To So Cal For Easter and Skiing
It was a busy week! We started with some fun while trying to
fill Daddy's shoes (literally) as well as his ski helmet - also
literally - wearing absolutely nothing else - see the photo at
the bottom of the page - neither Kate not Brent could help
laughing!
Back in hockey class, Sawyer is doing better after having a
few days on the ice just skating at free skate - but he has a
long way to go before he'll be able to enroll in real hockey
lessons.
This week we had boat safety at swimming, where all the
kids learn what to do in a boat and what to do if they thrown
out of a boat - it's a very fun class - probably the most fun of
the session.
The biggest news was going back to Southern California for
the Easter holiday (see the travel page for more photos and
video and note the requisite hair cut right before - photo
below.) We got Sawyer a private ski lesson and he took to the
slopes like a duck to water - it was a blast to watch him just
tear up the bunny hill like he'd been doing it for ages. It was
an especially great trip to the San Bernadino Mountains
(Snow Summit) because we went with Anthony, CJ, Mark and
Sandra Verrengia. The only downside was throwing up in
the car on the way up - luckily on the way down the mountain
he crashed in his car seat.
After we got back from skiing Grandmother and Granddad
Sheffield had a fabulous Easter Egg hunt and some great
Easter Legoes that you will see Sawyer showing off in our
hotel room. It was great fun!
