Mom's Birthday, Valentines Day And New Soccer Uniforms
Sawyer and Daddy got Mommy some wonderful fancy
toiletries for her birthday, though Sawyer was displeased
with this choice, preferring a Lego or set of Princesses, so
when they were presented he was very explicit in pointing out
that they weren't actually from him. That said, he did really
love helping Mommy blow out the candles and you can see
that in the video. The only button to that story was he ate
Mommy's small (gluten, dairy, egg free and very low sugar
brownie) and threw it up several hours later - but only after
the torture of about 2 hours of nausea.
Consequently, the following day at school, when offered lots
of candy and even another one of his little brownies, he
stayed away from it. The memory of this incident has lasted
for months and been very helpful at birthday parties or
anything where the foods that don't work for him are served
or offered. He still manages to have loads of fun wherever
he goes.
Otherwise it was very exciting to go and choose the colors of
his new soccer team's uniforms. We went from navy blue in
the Fall to bright red this Spring - which is great given
Sawyer's favorite colored shirt to wear to school is red
(despite his being in white here.) In fact we need to get him
some new red shirts as his are looking pretty tatty!
