Halloween At Christmas And A Very Wise Santa Claus
The Christmas season is upon us but Sawyer has not lost
his enthusiasm for costumes and dressing up - in fact it
seems to have gained momentum. With the costume shop
near Sawyer's swim classes going out of business, Brent
took the opportunity to snatch up a Captain American
costume which Sawyer has worn faithfully this week - and
has also played the part quite faithfully as well. Captain
America's shield is unbreakable and his great weapon -
Sawyer brings it everywhere and protects whatever he can,
Mommy, Daddy, Pippin, the Christmas tree...you name it, it's
safe.
Otherwise we had a very interesting day where Kate dragged
the poor little guy all over town running errands. Sawyer was
such a good sport. But we did find ourselves in Target at one
point where we had to take a photo of exactly what we wanted
for Christmas so that we could text it to Santa (Sawyer's
idea.) Then low and behold if we didn't see Santa about 20
minutes later in front of the super market. Sawyer went up to
the big buy and Mommy had to pull out her phone and show
Old Saint Nick what Sawyer wanted for Christmas. The
gentleman took one look, recognized they were Legos and
said that Sawyer needed to be sure to have all of his toys
picked up if he wanted to get Legos for Christmas because
Mommy didn't want to have to step on them.
We only got home about 2 hours later but when we did,
Sawyer made a B-line to his room where he picked up every
Lego and other toy! Mommy loves this Santa!
