First Soccer Game, Peyton's 4th Birthday Party, Texas
Rangers Baseball Game
We had about the busiest Saturday one can have with a three
year old. First we started the day with our very first soccer
game. Sawyer's little team, the Roadrunners did exceedingly
well. They don't keep score but our little team really cleaned
up - the only reason the other team stood a chance is we
managed to score on ourselves 3 times - that is classic!
Brent has observed that we have a pretty good little team -
with both Sawyer and his best friend Peyton having played
soccer at school and the other little boy on the team, Aaron is
a little brother - so he's been playing with his big brother
since the kid could stand - we're sure of it. Even our three
girls (there are six on a team and they play three on three)
are pretty good - with just one who won't go in and is afraid of
the ball. Sawyer scored 3 goals.
From the soccer game Sawyer went straight to his friend's
birthday party (Peyton.) Peyton's party is always at his
family's subdivision's water park and as such is a high light
of the year. Sawyer managed to get himself covered in red
frosting - do see the photo below, but the best part is he just
went back into the water and it washed off.
Finally we went to a Texas Rangers Baseball game for
Brent's company's summer picnic. Luckily we were actually
inside a very nice club house for lunch and then we were
able to go out and sit in the stands for the game. We had a
great time and the Rangers won!
