Decorating The Christmas Tree, A Star Wars Advent
Calendar, Horsing Around At The Table And Showing Off
The iPad to Brain Balance Pals
This was the first year that Sawyer was thrilled to decorate
the Christmas tree - in fact he couldn't wait. We have a
feeling that he saw something at school or they read a story
about doing it as a family because he was quite insistent that
we do this altogether. He was then utterly enchanted by the
tree and just sat in front of it admiring his handiwork.
Daddy got him the Star Wars Advent Calendar, which could
not have been a bigger hit. Each day there was another
action figure or space ship or droid to put together and
Sawyer loved each and every one - but it was hard to wait a
whole day until we could open the next one - so we sort of
cheated a bit here and there.
One afternoon, Sawyer was playing at the kitchen table and
Mom went to get a photo of the event only to catch him as he
fell right out of the chair. When you see the action shot
below, do not worry, there were no tears, but rather quick a fit
of giggles for his folly.
Sawyer continue to go to Brain Balance and it seems there is
some improvement but we are now really starting the new
diet regime and hoping that there will be a difference as we
go along. Regardless he does seem to enjoy going and his
academics have definitely improved and he's more motivated
to work on them then he was before.
