It's Thanksgiving And The Verrengia Cousins Come To Visit
As Do Grandma And Granddad And Gary and Geri!
Per tradition we had a full house this week. The Verrengia
cousins came in from California long with Brent's mom and
dad and we had quite the grand time playing and watching
Star Wars, going bowling and getting out a birthday gift that
races cars on the wall.
Thanksgiving is always a favorite time of year for the
Sheffields. CJ and Anthony came to visit and Sawyer always
has a particularly good time playing with his cousin Anthony
who is almost exactly 2 years old than he.
But Sawyer's energy is quite a bit higher than just about
anybody else's is and it surprises even his Grandma, who
spent 25 years doing daycare for four year olds.
Sawyer had never seen Star Wars but seemed to know all
about it from friends at school. However there was a Star
Wars marathon on TV this weekend and we took the
opportunity to educate him. We had forgotten that there are
some parts that are a bit over the top - so we tended to have
quite a bit of distraction here and there...
Bowling is always a good family hit and now that Sawyer can
push a ball down the lane (with some good help from Dad
and the bumpers) we had a blast at the Main Event near
Craig and Stephanie's house. Brent of course cleaned up
overall but our little guy definitely held his own among the
younger crowd. What a hoot.
