A Bounce House Lego Birthday Party, Football Men At Red
Robin, The Inside Park, Helping Dad and Dad & Me Super
Heroes!
The week was packed - starting with Sawyer's fourth birthday
party. He had some of his pals both from his new school,
Creme but also from his old school, Primrose. The latter
pals (seen in the chair of honor here with Sawyer) were
thrilled to see him and obviously thrilled to see them. It's a
bit sad, but all had a blast. The two cakes - a chocolate and
a vanilla cake only slightly looked like Lego Bricks, but they
definitely looked a lot better than the Lego cupcakes Mom
tried to make herself - just not happening.
We went to dinner at Red Robin where they now have little
football players in the vending machine - which has turned
out to be a good replacement to the little football helmets in
the vending machine at the grocery store - they changed out
the toys at the grocery store and Sawyer has been pretty
crushed ever since.
The McDonald's Playground is fondly referred to as "Old
MacDonald's" or the "Inside Park." Sawyer tends to have a
blast but only if there are other kids there to play with. On
Sunday he had a ball because there were a whole host of
little people there after church.
Like most little boys, Sawyer just loves to help Dad - this time
in the yard with the weed vacuum. He is definitely first and
foremost Daddy's little shadow.
Finally, Daddy got a Superhero costume for a work event and
Sawyer and he had a ball playing "Superheroes" at the
house.
