Legoland, 4th Birthday, Football Cake For School, Star
Wars Shoes, Watching A Movie Together and New
Jammies!
It was a buy week that started with Mommy and Daddy being
out of town for Mommy's college reunion. Sawyer got to
spend the weekend with his former teacher, Erin, who
indulged him and even took him to Legoland. Sawyer loved
it!
This was also the week of Sawyer's 4th birthday. We had a
cake for school that couldn't be used because it was baked
where there could have been nuts - there are children at his
school who are hyper allergic. So Mom had to bake a cake -
and this year we chose football with green colored coconut
for the grass. It wasn't terribly professional looking but it was
a big hit with Sawyer, his pals and even his teachers.
Sawyer got a pair of Star Wars shoes that light up - the left is
the good side of the force and blue, the other is the dark side
of the force and red. The red is already starting to die - we
think that's a good sign as the blue is going strong!
Sawyer was tickled pink to get both a Captain America t-shirt
as well as an Ironman Lego f his birthday - you can see his
happy face to the left here.
Friday night we did something we've never done before, we
watched a movie together. Sawyer stayed awake through the
whole thing...we can't say the same for Kate. It was a fun
thing to do - quite the treat for Sawyer to stay up so late. He
is four after all - wow hard to believe it!
