Swimming and Soccer!
Sawyer continues with his swim classes every week. He is
making progress, but we don't give him any outside practice.
Regardless, he really does love doing it - which beyond the
safety factor is all we can really ask for.
Otherwise, this week we lost two very close teachers - first
Ms. Marilyn, she is pictured below and his afternoon teacher
and the other was Ms. Sarah his morning teacher (we
neglected to get a photo unfortunately.) Both were very
special in Sawyer's life and transition to Creme so we are
sorry to see them go.
Otherwise, the whole week was about SOCCER! Daddy
somehow got "volunteered" by the soccer league to be the
team's coach. We believe it's because he didn't call back in
time to tell them no. Regardless, this week was "meet the
team" and get the uniforms. Sawyer was so excited he
veritably came out of his skin and of course as soon as Brent
passed out the uniforms, and Sawyer got his, he insisted on
putting it on immediately.
Beyond that, the next day we had to dress in our uniform and
go out to the park to play. Sawyer was exceedingly
disappointed to find that his team wasn't there yet to play with
him and it was just practice - waiting a whole week for the
game proved to be pretty painful.

The kids got to meet their fellow teammates and get their
uniforms. We met at McAlister's Deli in a private room in the
back. Here Sawyer and his classmate Kate learn they will
be soccer teammates as well.
