Still In California For Dad's Work
The weekend came and the fun certainly didn't end. Sawyer
was able to spend some more time with the cousins and
finally got to see both Mom and Dad a bit.
This time cousin Gracie was around and Sawyer also got a
chance to see his younger cousins, Nicolette and Natasha.
Sawyer is particularly protective of both of these cousins and
we are often out and about when he announces that we need
to buy something (usually a truck, car, hockey stick or hockey
jersey) for each of them. When those two finally visit Texas
we will have at least two dozen stores we need to go to in
order to make sure they get all their loot! It's too bad we don't
have any photos of them playing together here.
Otherwise he got to have his first "sleep over" - he slept at
Pie and Papa's and his cousins happened to be spending
the night. He is now asking for sleep overs with his other
little pals.
When it came time to fly home, our little man was utterly
exhausted and to our great joy he crashed for the entire
plane ride home - we needed the rest ourselves!
Monday night, Mom had a work dinner, so Sawyer got to go to
volleyball with Dad. You can see in the picture to the left just
how pleased he was with the idea.
