Happy At School, Hanging With Pip, Some Great Skating
And 4th of July in Colorado Springs!
What a busy week! We started it off with spending some
quality time with little Pippin who is sadly aging quickly before
our eyes. Sawyer is very sweet with him - just as he is with
babies - quite protective. As a result, Pip has been spending
more and more time in Sawyer's room.
On Saturday, Sawyer and his Dad went and got their hair cut
at their stylist Brandi. Then after hockey, Mommy and Sawyer
did free skate together - he's really getting the hang of it - see
the videos.
During the week Sawyer continues to do well at school - he
loves the drop off and the pick up and they seem to love him
there as well. The only problem this week was having to
miss Water Park Day because we headed off to Colorado
Springs for the 4th of July holiday - but we did quite a bit to
make up for the loss!
While there, we took in an amateur baseball game (the Sky
Sox,) found a car wash with a HUGE ducky, (we had to take a
photo to send to his Papa Petrie of course,) played in Wilber
fountain (freezing cold, but too fun to pass up), visited the
Royal Gorge where we climbed all over the rocks, said hello
to the buffalo and even rode on the carousel 3 times!
