Father's Day, Swimming, Hockey, Hot Wheels, Bikes and
Fireworks - Does It Get Any Better?

Our little man did very well not just at his swimming but also
his hockey class this week.  We now have both on Saturday
morning to allow for a less hectic schedule for Mom and Dad
during the week and more sleep on "school nights."

Sawyer has taken to swimming well this summer and is
definitely making progress now that we are able to spend
some time in the pool.  On Sunday, Father's Day he spent 5
hours straight in the pool - with a 30 minute break to eat
lunch.  Needless to say, he crashed that afternoon - we
actually woke him from his nap, concerned he wouldn't sleep.

He's becoming a much better listener at hockey and he and
Daddy had a great game of hockey both in the house and
then later that afternoon outside on their roller blades.

This week was a Hot Wheels motorcycle week - so we
brought out the track and we've had dozens of races - very
important to be first in the races!

On Friday, Mommy got to school early and had the pleasure
of playing with Sawyer and his pals at recess.

Finally, on Friday night we went out to Grapevine lake (less
than 3 miles from our home) and watched the fireworks that
are lit every Friday night at 9:30 - just the same time they have
them back in Southern California at Disneyland (okay, 5
minutes earlier, but who's counting?)
