The First Recital At Creme De La Creme
Sawyer's second week at school they had their spring recital.
We were told that he was very clever given how quickly he
learned the three little songs and all the hand movements
and "dance moves" that went with them.
We have to admit, he really did know them, and that wasn't
the case with all the other little ones. That said, Sawyer was
definitely the most animated one up there.
There's always at least one kid in the class that calls out "Hi
Mommy! Hi Daddy!" Sawyer not only did that he also pointed
out to the whole crowd, "That's my mommy! There's my
daddy!" So much so Kate got a "Hello Kate's Mommy" from
not one but two of his little friends and a third one said to her
father as she walked out, "Daddy, that's Sawyer!" He made it
fun for everyone - we must admit. We roared with laughter.
