Grandma And Granddad Come, Swimming Progress, A
New School!
The weekend started with Grandma and Granddad coming
from California. They stayed through Monday and we had a
good time playing baseball, hockey and going to the
Grapevine Mills Mall where we always get to ride the
Carousel when Grandma is in town.
Later in the week, per usual we had swimming where
Sawyer is progressing - though we still find it odd that he
does well in class but whenever we are in another pool he is
very timid. However, we would much rather have that than he
have a false sense of security!
The big news this week is Sawyer started a new school!
After 3 and a half years at Primrose, we decided to move him
to another school called Creme de la Creme (yes, we find
that name obnoxious as well.) It's out of the way and Kate
has to leave the house with Sawyer at 6:25 to be able to get
to work within an hour (rather than 2 hours on the road) but
so far he seems to love it.
They change classes every 30 minutes and it's quite the
regimented program that includes Computers, Social
Science, Music, Math, Reading/Writing and even Spanish!
He'll be better educated than the two of us before we know it!
