Mom Is Out Of Town, Boys Get New Rollerblades, Playing
With New Drill Toy, New Superman PJs
As always the week started with Hockey Tots. Sawyer is
getting the hang of trying to get his stick on the puck and
trying to hit the puck in the direction that his instructor is
asking him to - well, sometimes.
Mom then left on Sunday for a business trip and she didn't
get home until Wednesday! But that just meant that the boys
had a great time to play - and boy did they ever! Within
minutes of putting Mommy on the plane, the two were first off
to the hockey store where they each got a pair of roller
blades, then they headed to the regular sporting goods store
where Sawyer ended up with a goalie hockey stick, then they
were off again, this time to Target where Sawyer ended up
with some Superman Jammies and some special balls so
the boys could also go and play tennis. When the cats away,
the mice...you fill in the blank!
But the boys made the most of their time, going to the
outside hockey rink, the park, the tennis courts and they even
opened a great gift given to Sawyer for Christmas that is a
set of small power tools. Sawyer learned how to manage a
drill - so he could 'fix" his motorcycle (after he took it apart of
course.) it was really neat to see.
