Weekend Visiting Great Grandmothers, Basketball And
Hockey Tots
This weekend we headed off to Oklahoma to visit the Great
Grandmothers. We first stopped at Grandmother Joachims
where we took her out to lunch and Sawyer got to know his
Great Uncle Brian - Jan's younger brother. Brian was very
sweet with his nephew - there's a great shot of them here.
We then headed up to Enid to visit with Grandmother
Sheffield - we not only did the requisite "lining up of the cars,
watching TV together, playing outside with sticks" but Sawyer
also took the time to show her his skating and "hockey"
pictures and videos. The two had a lovely time doing so -

After spending a weekend entirely devoted to the talking of
hockey, we arrived back home to find that Sawyer wanted to
play basketball. HAD to be basketball.
Hockey Tots continued this week and Sawyer continues to
improve, but far more importantly, he's having a great time.
We can't help but spend the half an hour laughing at our little
man and his little pals on skates.
