"The Castle Park," First Hockey Class, Back To See Brandi
And Her Magnetic Paper Dolls
Sawyer begged us to be able to go back and play with the
magnetic paper dolls at Ms. Brandi's so Daddy went and got
his hair cut himself by Sawyer's "Stylist." Sawyer could not
have been more thrilled, except it meant we did have to leave
at some point.
We also explored a new park this week - one that had been
suggested by his babysitter, Erin. We call it the "Castle Park"
because it's like a big castle but also has some great
swings and large cord/ropes for balancing, etc.
The highlight of the week was the first hockey lesson!!
Sawyer has officially started Hockey Tots - he had so much
fun we can't imagine he'll ever want to go back to skating
without a stick in his hand and something to chase - it's just
not the same. Most of all, for us, it was a great half hour of
comedy.
Brent had ordered a new jersey for him - which is several
sizes too big and is a Stars jersey with both his name and
his number, 9, on his back. It also has a "C" on the front for
captain. It's so big that we have to roll up the sleeves - but
Sawyer doesn't care in the least - just so he can wear it!!
