Pip Gets A Hair Cut, Jett's Birthday Party At JumpZone, The
Black Hockey Helmet and "Flat C.J."
Saturday morning started with Sawyer taking his puppy to get
groomed - wearing his pajamas and his hockey gloves! He
was a big hit at the groomer - even if Pip wasn't particularly
excited.
This week we had cousin C.J.'s "Flat C.J." in town. This is her
doll based on the book "Flat Stanley" who goes all over the
world and does neat things. Flat C.J. went to the vet with us
and went to school with Sawyer - she also went to Daddy's
work.
This week Daddy got Sawyer a new hockey jersey - it's a
white Dallas Starts Jersey and it has Sheffield and number 9
on it! Sawyer is hooked. Between that and the black hockey
helmet he can't help but continue to be crazy about the game.
But the highlight of the week was Jett's birthday party at
JumpZone. This is the bounce house where we had
Sawyer's party. Sawyer gave Brent a big fright by wondering
off and Brent finally found him in another birthday party,
having a drink and about to have some cake. It was pretty
funny...that is when Brent finally found him - in the meantime
it wasn't much fun!
On Sunday afternoon we decided to use our gift card from
Barns and Noble from Grandma and Granddad and of
course that became an adventure in and unto itself. Sawyer
loves books - it was VERY difficult to choose.
