Katelynn's Party, A New Number Hockey Book And A
"Sheffield" Stars Jersey!
Birthday parties are so much fun and Sawyer's little friend
from school, Katelynn's (better known as "Kate") was no
different. They had it at the local Grapevine Recreation
Center in the Gym where they had all sorts of fun things to
play and do. Beyond a bounce house there was a mini
basketball court, a mini "kitchen," lots of balls, tricycles and
the like. It was a child's dream and Sawyer ran around with
all of his friends squealing with delight.
This week Daddy ordered Sawyer his very own Dallas Stars'
hockey jersey, complete with "Sheffield" on the back and
Sawyer's current favorite number, "9."
The other present that arrived in the mail this week was from
Sawyer's Pie and Papa Petrie - a numbers hockey book.
Sawyer already has the letters one - (Z is for Zamboni), this
one is Three is for Hat Trick. Sawyer, as you can see was
enamoured with it and continues to be.
Finally, Sawyer and his little Pippin dog are becoming closer
friends. For a while Pip was a bit leery of his "little brother"
because Sawyer would inadvertently scare him, but now
Sawyer has really gotten to the point where he's actually quite
protective of Pip. Of course it doesn't hurt when Sawyer
shares his Cheerios...
