Christmas May Be Over But We're Hanging On To The
Cheer
Daddy took Sawyer to downtown Grapevine so that he could
enjoy all the decorations in our little town. Sawyer loved
Frosty (he's still singing the song from school,) the beavers
(neat display) and of course Santa Claus. Sawyer seems to
love Christmas decorations just as much as we do and is
wistful at the fact that we have to take the Christmas tree
down at all - even if it has been a bit of a hinderance for the
"hockey rink."
Speaking of hockey, he continues to enjoy and do well at his
skating lessons - Coach Marcus is a great kid and knows
that it's most important to make it fun for our little man.
This weekend Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner and
"Grandma Suzan" came to play with Sawyer for the evening.
This was the first time he was having so much fun, he didn't
even notice that we'd left. So what was he playing? You
guessed it, HOCKEY! But more than that, he was wearing
some of his new hockey gear - over his pajamas of course -
but wow was he proud!
Suzan also brought a set of small, plastic hockey players that
was a huge hit and continues to be so - Sawyer must have
them with him in the bath EVER night!
