Skating With Cousins, Christmas With His Grandparents,
Off To New Orleans, Louisiana And Destin, Florida
Christmas week is always jam packed with family fun and
this year was no different. We spent a wonderful few days
with both the Sheffield and the Petrie sides of the family.
Sawyer got to go skating with both sets of cousins. That was
a true treat for all of us to watch, and as you can see from the
photo here Sawyer could not have been any happier.
We had a great opportunity to spend some quality time with
both the Verrengia kids - with whom he got to have the
"present frenzy" at Grandma and Granddad Sheffield's house
on Christmas Eve and have a great time at the park running
all over the show.
With his older Petrie cousins Sawyer played at Pie and Papa
Petrie's house and on Christmas morning we headed to his
younger Petrie cousins' home where he had a great time
with cousin Nicolette, exploring her back yard and playing
with her toys. However, the high light was definitely being
able to hold 3 month old baby Natasha - he LOVED that!
Per usual we skipped the Christmas presents to each other
in our little family in lieu of heading out of town for New Year.
We flew into New Orleans and then drove straight through to
Destin, Florida where we spent 2 wonderful nights in a
house rental only 3 streets from the beach. It was a
wonderfully relaxing time for us. Who knew we could do it?
Sawyer's favorite part was definitely the beach followed by a
close second of the whirl pool bathtub.
