Getting Ready For Christmas, Eating Christmas Cookies
and More Skating

Christmas is fast approaching and we were able to motivate
ourselves to do some decorating so we can feel the warm
and bright spirit of the season.

Sawyer was very helpful this year as Daddy took out the tree,
but even more so when Mommy took out the ornaments.  He
took out the ones that weren't too fragile and helped by
putting a ring of ornaments around the bottom of the tree just
at his height - we did adjust a few of them later but it was
pretty priceless.

This week Kate's friend from work gave him a Bucky Badger
sweats set and Sawyer is definitely a fan of the bright red
color even if he hasn't a clue what the University of Wisconsin
is.  However, when he wore it to Costco there were three
different people who approached him within about 10
minutes asking him if he was Bucky.  He loved the attention.

Otherwise he continues in ice skating and is making some
improvement.  This week he went from Sam 1 to Sam 2 level.
Wahoo!

The best photo of the week, however, is the one right below
this one.  Sawyer loves his backpacks more than his school
clothes so he tends to think he's ready when he's got his
"back covered."
