The Van, "Protective Gear," Batman and Hanging With
Uncle Craig
Sawyer loves for his grandparents to come and stay not just
because it's wonderful to spend time with them, but because
they always rent a large white van so that the entire family
can go everywhere together. Sawyer loves that van - and he
spent all morning the day after Thanksgiving playing in it
(while it stood in the driveway.) We had quite a few
adventures - it was a hoot.
Ever the little helper, Sawyer worked with Daddy get the
garage all nice and neat and tidy after we had so many
leaves blow in.
He then parlayed into needing to "mow" INSIDE the house -
he has a pretty interesting get up for that - you an see below.
He has his own protective gear just like his Daddy.
Finally, Sawyer had a great time with his uncle Craig - he
loved playing hockey with Brent's brother and then looking at
pictures with his wife while they were with us over the
Thanksgiving weekend. Sawyer and cousin Andrew had fun
playing with the Nerf swords Brent purchased for his work for
Halloween. The two of them had a duel as Sawyer had his
Batman jammies on for the encounter.
It was so wonderful to have the whole family with us - what a
blessing to be able to host them all.
