Nolan's Party, Swim Lessons, And Carving Pumpkin
It was a fun, jam-packed week starting with Sawyer's friend,
Nolan's birthday party at a Putt Putt golf course that included
video games and best of all, bounce houses! Golf with 3
year olds is comical to say the least. Sawyer trotted out his
hockey moves - which makes for a tricky putting form. Then
again, his other pals were about the same. Sawyer ended
up picking up his ball and putting it close to the hole and then
gently tapping it in - followed of course by a big celebration!
Besides some great cake, after which Sawyer had no
interest in presents, he headed out the party room door and
down to where he knew the bounce houses to be. By the
time the rest of the crew caught up, Sawyer was already
drenched in sweat and then started directing traffic - or his
pals. It was fun to watch.
This weekend we also carved the Halloween pumpkin -
Brent had Sawyer choose the design with the help of an
iPhone app - there is one for everything! Sawyer didn't want
one that looked to scary. The result was a wonderful
jack-o-lantern that just thrilled our little guy.
Otherwise he practiced his hand eye coordination with a toy
from last Christmas - remote control fire engine.
Finally, at swim class this week they had boat safety training
- Sawyer and his pals all donned life preservers and were
mesmerized by the entire experience. It was adorable.
