Our Budding Rock Star
This week a very good friend of ours, Cynthia Dungan, dropped
off a belated birthday gift for Sawyer - both an ambulance truck
and a toy guitar! The latter has been a huge hit with Sawyer
and kept us in stitches. It plays when you "strum" across
where the strings would normally be using a sensor - see it to
the right here. The keyboard is also wonderful - depending on
the mode it's in, it will flip into a variety of types of music - we
love it and Sawyer has his father take turns playing for one
another.
Other good friends of ours also picked up some Elmo books
and an Elmo doll. We presume they watch Sesame Street at
school because Sawyer loves Elmo. He's been very sweet with
his Elmo doll in particular. As soon as he got it, Sawyer
carefully sat Elmo on the window ledge so Elmo wouldn't get
dirty at supper.
The weather is a bit erratic right now but has been warm
enough to get to the park - Sawyer doesn't seem to notice
whether it's 45 degrees or 110 degrees. He still loves the slide
and just running in general.
He continues to love the animated Christmas decorations that
play all sorts of Christmas carols and dance. They never
cease to please.
Finally, ever since the trip to Utah, Sawyer has loved luggage -
and even adores going to that section in Target now!
