Getting Ready For Thanksgiving and Christmas
In order to beat the crowds and keep poor Sawyer from
having to wait in line to see Santa (whom he still doesn't
really understand - though he does know he wants a BIG
TRUCK) we went early to get his photo taken with the man in
red. Despite the fact that this was truly a kind and lovely
Santa, with whom Sawyer definitely "connected," our little guy
refused to sit on St. Nick's lap. Consequently, in order to get
a photo it had to be a family picture - obviously we weren't
planning on it, otherwise Brent wouldn't have worn mustard
and Kate wouldn't have worn pink!
We go to visit Santa every year at the Gaylord Texan in
Grapevine where they have wonderful decorations and a
fantastic train display every year - it was a fun, family evening.
