Visiting Great Grandmother's in OKC

It just wasn't hot enough for us in Dallas, so we decided to
drive north to visit Brent's grandmothers, a.k.a. - The Great
Grandmothers.

Sawyer did amazingly well on the long car rides - thank
goodness for an iPod and "Dino Dan!"  But even without
much in the way of nap-time and a pretty disrupted sleep
schedule in general, he did very well and was especially cute
with both of the ladies.

Sawyer has really taken to pretending and "seeing things"
that aren't really there - like his tools or a dinosaur.  He is
also very kind when he speaks to his stuffed animals and
insists that they are all kind to one another (otherwise they
end up in time out or are sent to the office.)

He's also very encouraging of others.  When we were all
playing a game, he would encourage everyone in the room,
Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Gary, Aunt Gerri and Grandmother to
do something - like put on a bag that was a "fire helmet."
"Come on Grandmother, you can do it."  When she did, he
turned to everyone and said, "Yeah for Grandmother.
Everyone say 'Yeah for Grandmother.'"  If someone didn't say
it he would single them out - "Mommy, say 'Yeah for
Grandmother.'" But mostly he would just follow up the "Yeah"
with a "Woohoo" followed by a "Good job, Grandmother." It
was really fun to watch him include everyone and be so
encouraging at the same time.
