Wildflower Festival
Though the weather threatened to be poor over the weekend
we were fortunate and it didn't rain. Our good friend Michael
McLean was in town for the Wildflower Music Festival in
Richardson and we went out on Sunday to spend some time
with him and enjoy all the fun of the festival. Sawyer
particularly enjoyed the petting zoo, the drums and they had a
huge sand box where he got to play with trucks!
Otherwise, he's becoming more and more interested in
making sure that his little pals (Monkey, Teddy, Elmo and
Bunny Frou Frou - yes, with an "r") are well taken care of. He
loves for them to have places to sit at dinner and he makes
sure that they get plenty of rest (take naps) but they are also
naughty at times because occasionally they get sent to either
"Time Out" or the "Office" for biting or pushing, so some such
infraction.
We heard at school that Sawyer is usually the generator of
games (like Ring Around The Rosey) and gets his friends to
play, but more than that, if he sees someone is left out, he
will stop the game to be sure everyone can join in.
Besides that all week he wanted to wear Daddy's shoes!

Mommy doesn't want strawberry over
Sawyer's clothes so she dresses him in an
