Fun In The Sun And Fun With Mommy
Over the weekend Sawyer decided to help his daddy first at
the gas station with cleaning the car and then in the yard with
picking up sticks and fallen leaves. During the week,
however, he was great with helping his mommy in the
kitchen - quite the helpful little fellow all the way around.
Mid-week we got a report from work that he acted has his
best friend's "body guard" - protecting his friend's truck from
being pinched by would-be thieves!
For the last 2-3 weeks he's been cutting molars and hasn't
been sleeping terribly well as a result - much to Mommy's
fatigued chagrin! But it provides for some delicious quiet time
all the same - even if the mornings are a bit bleary-eyed for
both.
While Daddy had to work in Louisiana, Sawyer and Mommy
got to spend some wonderful evenings outdoors with great
weather and play in the bathroom in the mornings. When
Daddy came home early on Friday he picked up Sawyer and
brought him to Mommy's office so we could show off our little
man to the few people who were still there late on a Friday -
as you can see, Sawyer worked very diligently!
