Trick Or Treat!

Sawyer's second Halloween he actually started to get the hang
of this "Trick-Or-Treating" business.  It took a little while as our
normally gregarious and out going little boy, became shy and
had trouble even saying "thank you."  But once he figured out he
was going to get something if he was brave enough to go up to
the door, he started to like it.  We went to our old neighborhood
as ours isn't conducive to trick-or-treating.  It was a genuine
treat to see our former neighbors and even go to our old house!
(Unfortunately, no one was home, however.)  We were very
fortunate as it was a beautiful, warm evening - one of the last
for a long time!

Sawyer is really loving the two little "classes" he has as "extras"
at school.  The first is "Stretch and Grow" and the second is
"Little Music Makers" where the teacher reports he loves to clap
and sing along, playing the instruments (tambourine), and
dancing.  He then comes home and teaches Mommy and
Daddy what he's learned - it's great fun.

Sawyer continues to be enamoured equally with trucks and
motorcycles. The second string, which follows closely are of
course trains and cars.  Of course the park reigns supreme
and with the weather a bit cooler, the park is fun for everyone.
He loves the biggest slide of course and is happy to do several
(think at least a dozen) laps around the park to get to it.
