Bluebonnets And Preparing For Easter
The weather has been beautiful and we've definitely taken
advantage of it to be outside.
We took the opportunity to go and take photos amongst the
Bluebonnets as they will be gone by next weekend and we
won't have the whole family together in Texas for another 4
weekends! It was windy, but gorgeous and Sawyer had a
great time running all over - Mommy and Daddy were a bit
nervous by the busy street he wanted to flirt with, but he was
very good.
On weekend mornings Sawyer and Mommy have some
special time together while they let Daddy get some much-
needed rest. Sawyer's favorite thing is to sit on the island in
the center of the kitchen and have Mommy sit next to them so
they can sit close and eat breakfast together.
Later in the week, Primrose, Sawyer's school, had their
annual Easter Egg Hunt. Sawyer's best friend, Peyton Orr,
had the exact same bucket Sawyer did for collecting eggs.
That said, Sawyer was completely disinterested in the egg
hunting after he found a Dora the Explorer Matchbox car -
who needs eggs when you have a TRUCK! A kid has to have
his priorities. He collected all of 3 eggs - most kids had
more than 2 dozen each.
