Time For A Trim - Pie Is Coming!

Over the weekend both Sawyer and Pip went to their respective
"hair dressers" for well needed trims.  Sawyer has now
become pretty accustomed to going to Cool Cuts - where
Christina, the manager no doubt, always does his hair.  He
wasn't exactly thrilled by the idea as you can see by the picture
to the left, but afterwards he played with their train set and had
so much fun that we finally had to pull him kicking and
screaming from the salon because we had to get other things
done for the day!

Our "tidying up" was in preparation for Pie's visit the following
weekend - she was here for a conference and we had so much
fun - especially seeing as Sawyer was so missing his dad
because Brent had been tied up Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday night and then left for Alaska on Thursday morning
until Sunday.  We did have quite a bit of "Where's Daddy?"  Kate
got that especially when something wasn't going Sawyer's way!

At school he managed to take a bit of a "header" into one of his
trucks which produced the most gorgeous shiner we've seen in
a long time. So much so that we are receiving very dirty looks
from strangers in public places - it's amazing.

Finally, Kate brought home her old desk calendar from work
and it's proved the best drawing pad - it's huge!  Sawyer loves
to "color' and draw - almost as much as he loves riding his "hot
rod" with his helmet!

Another "Before" Picture
Sawyer love the train set at the Cool Cuts hair
salon - always more fun to play with others' toys.

The "After" Pick
We took Sawyer's sweater off for his hair cut
so that it wouldn't be covered in hair.
Shiner
Sawyer fell on top of his truck at school.  This
picture does not do it justice - the thing was
bright purple.
