There's Snow!
The weekend started with Sawyer's first visit to the dentist -
where is was pronounced, "The best two-year-old we have
EVER seen!" This dentist has designed his office like a train
depot and it has toy trains running throughout the various
offices and a train outside to play on and a train set to play with
as well.
On Sunday we had a bit of snow, so we decided to run some
errands to spend some time out and about enjoying it. We
drove north and as we did the snow turned into a blizzard (we
would later find out that our city had nothing like what we saw
that day.)
As a result, there were hardly any people at the shops and we
were able to find some shoes for Sawyer - yeah! That is
always a bit of a chore - who wants to sit and try on shoes
when there are so many things to run around and look at? But
it was cold outside, so Sawyer was still a bit antsy so we
stopped off first at a McDonald's indoor play ground where
Sawyer had A BLAST playing - he was hesitant at first but one
of the little girls who was playing took him under her wing and
after he got the hang of it, he did the same with other children -
it was nothing short of adorable to watch.
Later in the week, Daddy found him a scooter on which he
promptly climbed and scooted around like a pro - we were
amazed - we're not sure where he's seen one before!
