Christmas Is Almost Here!
We got ourselves ready for the big day, which for us obviously
means getting ready to go to Southern California to see both
grandparents and cousins.
Sawyer is starting to really try to do this "Potty-thing" - we are
hoping he'll "cave to peer pressure" because his little friends
are all being potty trained at school as well. His efforts are
adorable regardless. He really is our "big boy" with his back
pack which he almost always insists on carrying himself. He
loves it when we use back packs - so he can be like Mommy
and Daddy.
Christmas presents were FANTASTIC this year because they
included every kind of truck imaginable, a few buses and some
motorcycles!
Kate's colleague at work, Jackson Hunt, gave Sawyer a whole
set of Tonka Mini Trucks - and Sawyer played with them all
evening, had to hold ALL FIVE OF THEM AT ONCE and of
course insisted we take them with us on our trip. We were
grateful for them in the airplane.
Sawyer had so much fun at the annual Christmas open house
that Pie always does. His cousins Anthony and CJ really taught
him what presents are all about it, so he was enamoured with
Santa Clause when he made an appearance and brought
Sawyer - you guessed it - A TRUCK! This time it was a trash
truck that made noise if you so much as touched it. There must
have been a short in it, but no matter, somehow the batteries
got removed. Now EVERYONE likes it!
While we were back in So. Cal. we went back to the ENT to be
told his ears look great - nothing more to be done. We're very
pleased - no ear infections since his tubes were put in!
