Moving Up To Early Preschool 2 And The Big Boy Seat

This week we had not one but two big changes - Sawyer had
to move up to the next car seat in Kate's car because he is
just too tall/long.  On that same day he started the next class
up at school which is called EPS2 or Early Preschool 2.
Sawyer moved up with his friend Finn, who is 2 months older
than Sawyer and his buddy Peyton who is 6 weeks older. We
were glad they all got to move up together. He's been in
school with both of these boys since he started in January of
2009.  By all accounts he seems to be loving it and hates it
when we arrive to pick him up - just having way too much fun
to be interrupted.

To try to help the frustration, we have been taking advantage
of the great weather and playing in the carport in the
evenings after dinner and before bath time. We tried to do it
one morning this week, but Sawyer decided it was "too cold."

Sawyer knows one has to wear shoes to play outside, so
he's taken to making sure we have shoes on, and if not
bringing them to us.  If he still can't get us to put on the
shoes, then he'll just put them on his own feet - he LOVES
that.

Whenever we go out to eat now, Sawyer loves to "Salt and
Pepper" his food - which basically means shaking salt and
pepper onto his plate next to his food.
