A Splashin' Great Birthday Party!
This weekend Sawyer was invited to his friend Peyton's 2nd
birthday on August 28 at Trophy Club Splash Park. We had
never been there before but had the BEST time. The water
park is part of this planned community but is as good or
better than any water park we have seen for little people.
There were great slides and platforms that were just perfect
for 2 year olds with lots of energy. Besides Peyton had also
invited Finn from school so the three who have been
together since they were 3 months old had a great time and
we got another photo of them together - the first was at
Sawyer's first birthday party.
Another treat of the weekend was Sawyer's uncle Craig,
cousin Andrew and auntie Stephanie come over for a
cookout. They brought Sawyer a brand new dump truck as a
gift. Sawyer had so much fun with it - right from the start
with the unwrapping part. It's the first gift that he's really
unwrapped to date. The truck is tremendous because it not
only makes noise and comes with a driver but it drives on
its own.
Finally, Sawyer has become more attached to his blankies
lately - he loves to take his blanky from school home every
evening (it's a bit tricky because there's so much blanky and
so little Sawyer) and loves bringing it back in the morning.
