Kick Those Legs!

The weather continues to be "August in Texas" i.e. it's
simply incredibly hot!  Consequently, we've been taking
advantage of the pool as much as possible.  He loves
being outdoors and it's difficult to do in this weather unless
we're swimming.  The best part of the pool is definitely
playing with Daddy.

Sawyer now naps well at school, but isn't able to do so at
home on the weekends - doesn't matter how long we leave
him OR if we try to exhaust him in the pool.  However, he
does tend to crash earlier in the evening that way!

He remains a very happy little chappy and is now babbling
all the time!  He's taken to also singing as well as playing
BOTH parts in a conversation - obviously asking some
question and then answering it with "Yeah," or a very
definitive "No!"

The age of the high chair is now definitely over.  Brent
converted Sawyer's high chair into a chair that is high
enough that he sits at the right height at the table.  The
biggest bonus is it's easier to clean up than our regular
chairs so we don't have as much "after work" following a
meal or a snack.
